Generally speaking, millimeter wave(mmWave) radar has earned a place in the sensor world and has a clear distinction compared to other technologies, such as: Infrared, Ultrasonic, Camera, Laser and Lidar.

Infrared or ultrasonic technology is commonly used in human sensing applications, but it has inherent disadvantages, including low sensing accuracy and vulnerability to environmental interference. Millimeter-wave (mmWave) radar is the more accurate solution. 

And the biggest advantage of millimeter wave radar is no involving privacy, the appearance of it without disturbing the lens design, more important is the radar data information is completely anonymous and conform to the requirements of the relevant privacy laws and regulations, and can be applied to more and more unsuitable for deployment of camera office scenarios, such as the aforementioned staff office area, meeting space, open space, and even toilet, rest area and other places of highly sensitive.
